MapRun is ‘virtual’ orienteering using a SmartPhone: all that you need to run the courses is a smartphone with the MapRun app or a Garmin watch with the app and a printed map. + – occasionally a map will be PIN protected so that it cannot be used before the PIN is shared, e.g. on a training night or for a time-limited challenge.

One of the things not covered is the types of events that you can produce, as MapRun are adding types fairly often.
